Who are we?
In relation to Data Protection, We are the Data Controller (This means we are responsible for collecting your Data and setting the rules of how it will be processed).
We are committed to complying with the UK’s Data Protection Law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the protection of Personal Data, as well as the principles of data security in the configuration of our services.
What Data is being collected and processed?
The purpose for processing your personal information is to allow us to process your orders.
The lawful basis for the processing of this Personal Data is deemed to be in your ‘Legitimate Interests’, as we will only be able to complete the order if you provide the data we need. This data is;
- Your Title
- First name(s), surname or company name (including representation as the case may be)
- Email address
- Payment details
We will then process your details through our internal systems to enable us to complete your order.
We do use the third party system ‘Stripe’ to process your payment details, at no point will your payment details be held by us. In addition, we also utilise Google Workspace to communicate with you and to store your contact details. These are established and internationally recognised businesses who have consistently demonstrated their security and data protection credentials.
We comply with the Privacy and E-communications Regulation (PECR) But no direct marketing activity will be undertaken unless you have previously provided us with Consent to contact you.
How do we receive information about you?
We receive your Personal Information from different sources:
- When you voluntarily provide us with your personal details when you contact us via web, email or phone.
- From third-party providers, services and public registers (for example, Companies House). Sharing of Data with other Data Controllers/Processors
We use Webflow, Posthog, & Google cloud platforms. Neither have access to your personal information due to their own security policies & processes.
The data you share with us is only used by us. Should there be a need to discuss your personal data with a 3rd party then we will discuss and agree that with you beforehand.
As stated previously we use third-party providers to manage the resources we provide, and the payment process. Any questions about these, please do get in touch.
Your Rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have a number of rights, which you are free to exercise at any time. These rights are;
- Right of Access by the Data Subject (Subject Access Request)
- Right to rectification
- Right to erasure (‘right to be forgotten’)
- Right to restriction of processing
- Notification obligation regarding rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing

Personal data we hold about you
You can contact us directly – oana@get-lumina.com, requesting copies of any data we hold about you. There will be no charge for this ‘Subject Access Request’ but if you log multiple requests, or the request is seen as excessive in nature, then there may be nominal charge which we will request to cover the administration of your request.
How You Can Access And Update Your Information
If you believe that we hold any incomplete or inaccurate data about you, you have the right to ask us to correct and/or complete the information and we will strive to correct it as quickly as possible. Retention
We take steps to erase any Personal Data that is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it is collected or otherwise processed. We will only retain data in order to satisfy legal requirements, and will periodically check with you to ensure you’re still happy for us to hold your data.
Right to Complain
You have a Right to Complain, but if you have a complaint about any aspect of our Data Protection processing, or if you feel your privacy has been breached by us, we would like to hear from you first to see if we can’t resolve the matter directly.
